Applicants with Digital Certificate issued by Safescrypt who are finding it difficult to locate their Certificate at the time of filling of ECOM application since 20.02.2008 are requested to reinstall the certificate as follows:

Installation of DGFT Online CA Issued from Safescrypt Certificate

Step 1:

Click DGFTroots.p7b and Select Open

Step 2:

Select Certificates on left side and then Double Click on DGFT Online CA option as mentioned in red circle on right hand side of window given below.

Step 3:

A Certificate window will appear. Click on button install Certificate as mentioned in red circle given below.

Step 4:

Click on Next button as mentioned in red circle given below.

Step 5:

Select Automatically select a certificates stored based on the types of certificate and click Next button as mentioned in red circle given below.

Step 6:

Click Finish button as mentioned in red circle given below.

Step 7:

Click OK button as mentioned in red circle given below.

Step 8:

Click OK button as mentioned in red circle given below.

Restart the machine and login with your Safescrypt Digital Certificate .

Note: Contact your local Safescrypt vendor in case you are not able to locate your Certificate even after completion of above steps.
