The office of Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade is headed by Shri N.P.S. Monga, ITS. The offices covered under the Northern Zone are located at Panipat, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Jammu, Amritsar, Moradbad, Kanpur, Varansi ,Jaipur and Dehradun. Each of the regional offices is headed either by Jt. DG or Dy. DG level officers.

At Delhi Zonal JDG is assisted by three other Jt. DGs. The names of the four Jt. DGs are as follows: -

FTDOs are the cutting edges in implementing Foreign Trade Policy. They are the basic functionaries who sign the licences and are responsible for day-to-day execution of various works. Each FTDO is generally assisted by 4 to 5 UDCs, 1 or 2 Section Heads.

Work related to Hindi is attended by Shri M.R. Sharma, Hindi Officer. He is also responsible for implementing the Government Policy on Hindi.

Shri Ashutosh Nagar from National Informatics Centre is looking after the IT requirements of the office.
